Carrum Beach The Carrum Foreshore Precinct stretches from the Patterson River, where there is a breakwall, the Beauty Spot park, and the Dandenong Creek Trail through a 2 km stretch of beach and natural habitat. There is a boardwalk, and large sea-themed playground, with shelters, tables, toilets, drinking fountain, deck chairs and BBQ area.

Carrum Beach park is partially gated and fenced, with open access from the carpark. Dotted around the perimeter are wooden deckchairs, picnic/BBQ shelters and a water tap. Shade is provided via some tall beach umbrellas but they do not provide much shade depending on the time of day you go.
